I first came to Edmonton August 2014 and did not know anyone here or any REALTORS®. So I simply searched Google with,” Best REALTOR® in Edmonton” and Wally’s name came up. He was able to find me a new home within 3 days, which I called home till August 2020. I decided to move into another new home and needed to sell my current home with a short window as the possession date on the new home was only a few weeks away. I was worried because of COVID-19 and all the restrictions put on us. I contacted Wally and he came to my home the day after with his photographer, took pictures and by the next day my home was listed. So happy with our purchase of a condo/townhouse through Wally at Top Edmonton Real Estate. I had signed up for emails with him, and finally received an email that "ticked all our important boxes". I contacted Wally and he was able to meet me the next day to view the property. Wally helped us make the decision as to our offer and helped through out the negotiations. We had a hiccup with our bank and Wally was able to recommend a broker with whom we found to be easy to work with and ended up getting a better rate than we would have through our bank. I met Wally many years ago working in the hospitality industry, and I found personally, his good nature and his friendly disposition back then to be a breath of fresh air. To me, Mr. Fakhreddine is Wally. He is a very competent person who knows the Edmonton real estate market very well. He's also a very good friend. I did not feel like a chequebook for Wally. In fact he held true to his fiduciary duty and went above and beyond his mandate to assist me. Even after our business together he has continued to maintain our friendship and has always been available to give me advice and guidance. As a first time home buyer, this is much appreciated. It is our first time to get a house and we did not have any knowledge of the process. Wally Fakhreddine is our first real estate agent. He helped us out through-out the process, he was kind, he would make sure that we understood any papers before we sign it and what to expect for the next step, and he would recommend us what to do, and where to start. I am a new business management graduate and I have also worked as customer service myself and it does require patience with the customers and/or clients and Wally was so patient with us when we gave him a hard time to meet up with the deadlines. His quality of the performance was excellent and worked professionally. There wasn't a moment where he said this is not part of my job and would leave us, he would refer us where to go and what to avoid. In the future, I would refer him to all of my family and friends to contact him. Even I would contact him in the future if I want to buy or sell my house. We are so happy and thankful for all that he did for us. Wally has exceeded my expectations. With all honesty I have known Wally for over then 6 years. He found me the house I am in and helped me through finding others , from that day I do not and could not refer to any one else, he sold a house for my brother then helped out my uncle then my inlaws.
